The IChat report show convictions in the Michigan courts. It usually only contains convictions where the potential penalty is 90 days or more in jail. Not all of the jurisdictions in Michigan have always been great at submitting their information to the State Police for inclusion. Also, some, but not all, of the Tribes in Michigan also report arrests and convictions for the Ichat report.
How to obtain your own I-CHAT Report.
1. Go to the website: https://apps.michigan.gov/Home/Login
2. Click top to register as a new user (to create new account) OR
3. Enter your user ID and password.
4. Sign in.
5. Enter the name of the person you are searching for.
6. Double-click “Submit.”
7. Double-click “checkout.”
8. Review your order and check the box next to the name of the person you are searching for.
9. Double-click "Checkout."
10. Choose your payment method, e.g. by credit card.
11. Double-click "Next."
12. Fill in Billing Details and Credit Card payment information.
13. Check box stating that you are not a robot.
14. The cost is $10.00 per I-Chat Report.
