Your Support Protects Native Families and Empowers Native Communities
Invest in Tribal Communities Today.
MILS is able to do our important work because of the support of people and organizations who care enough to give of their time, talent and treasure. Sharing is a Native American tradition. We invite you to participate in this tradition by contributing to MILS. If you would like to partner with us in our mission, please make a donation at the link below. Thank you for your generosity!
Donations can be made through GuideStar.

For Michigan licensed attorneys, donations can be made through the Access to Justice Campaign. The Access to Justice Campaign is a statewide, collaborative fundraising effort administered by the Michigan State Bar Foundation (MSBF) and operated in partnership with the State Bar of Michigan (SBM), to increase resources for 14 regional and statewide civil legal aid programs in Michigan. 100% of donations are distributed to support civil legal aid.

Because MILS receives funding through the Legal Services Corporation (LSC), we are required to notify all funders, including private donors, that we will not engage in activities prohibited by the LSC Act , regulations, or appropriations riders using the donated funds. Prohibitions include such activities as abortion litigation, class actions, civil litigation on behalf of the incarcerated, representation for undocumented aliens, evictions from public housing involving illegal drug activities, lobbying, handling state or federal criminal cases, school desegregation cases, or cases involving military desertion. Some of these restrictions do not apply to funds from Tribal Governments. For more information, please see 45 CFR 1610.
