Business Partnerships
If you, your employees, and your clients/customers appreciate strong Native Communities, consider supporting MILS with a philanthropic business sponsorship so we can recognize your commitment to the community. Many businesses see the impact of their donation on a daily basis.
MILS is open to working with businesses to develop meaningful partnerships that deliver a return on investment, strengthen brand identity, and inspire employees. Contact MILS oday to learn how you can partner with us on our next project or community event.
Because MILS receives funding through the Legal Services Corporation (LSC), we are required to notify all funders, including private donors, that we will not engage in activities prohibited by the LSC Act , regulations, or appropriations riders using the donated funds. Prohibitions include such activities as abortion litigation, class actions, civil litigation on behalf of the incarcerated, representation for undocumented aliens, evictions from public housing involving illegal drug activities, lobbying, handling state or federal criminal cases, school desegregation cases, or cases involving military desertion. Some of these restrictions do not apply to funds from Tribal Governments. For more information, please see 45 CFR 1610.
